Heather Strohm has worked with communities and businesses on economic and community development in Indiana and Tennessee for more than 15 years. She has partnered with local organizations, stakeholders and agencies to host programs such as Transforming Your Local Economy, Business Retention & Expansion, SET and Hometown Collaboration Initiative. All of these programs are designed to help increase the quality of life and business growth across Indiana counties.
Heather has experience and specializes in a variety of areas, ranging from time management for meetings to written and oral communication. She composes articles for the Terre Haute Tribune Star on a biweekly basis on a variety of community and economic development-related topics. She also focuses her attention at helping educators, counties and communities in organization, strategic planning, relationship management, program implementation and leadership.
Heather’s background is very diverse. Upon being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, she earned her B.A. in Business Management from Mercer University in Macon, GA. She then began working in marketing and broadcast media with local, regional and national companies, developing and implementing marketing campaigns, while simultaneously earning her M.B.A., also from Mercer University.
