Purdue Extension is pleased to offer Navigating Difference, an intensive cultural competency training, on August 16-18, 2022. This is a professional development workshop for those who work across diversity in communities and want to improve their intercultural effectiveness. (It is not a train-the-trainer to learn to teach the program to others.)

The 3-day workshop will be held at the Canyon Inn, McCormick’s Creek State Park, 451 McCormick Creek Road, Spencer, IN 47460.

Workshop dates and times are:

• Tuesday, August 16, 2022, 10:00 am-5:00 pm Eastern with homework in the evening
• Wednesday, August 17, 2022, 8:30 am-5:00 pm Eastern with homework in the evening
• Thursday, August 18, 2022, 8:30 am-2:30 pm Eastern

The cost of this retreat experience includes all meals from lunch on Day 1 to lunch on Day 3 and all materials and instruction for $450. The registration fee does not include lodging. Please make your hotel reservations separately with the Canyon Inn by calling 877-563-4371 and use the group code 0816PE to receive the group rate of $90.00 per night plus tax and fees. Hotel reservations must be made by July 31, 2022.

There is a one-time seasonal gate fee of $7.00 per vehicle.
